Stating the Obvious (Jun 16, 2008 - Reflections – "[...] just two cards and the two cards are opposite in nature. [...] In a more traditional set, you might see a reflection done as an enemy-color card with a similar structure yet mostly opposite effect (e.g. protection from white vs. protection from black)")
A Nightmare To Remember (Jan 7, 2002 - The Black Reflections - "[...]You see, Richard is a big fan of "mirrored" spells – that is, two spells that are reflections of one another. (Examples from Alpha – [...] – are White Knight /Black Knight , Blue Elemental Blast /Red Elemental Blast , Deathgrip /Lifeforce , etc.)")
Inquiring Minds Want to Know, Part 2 (Mar 24, 2003 - Q(Boyd C.) : "[...] Magic has pitted many of its colors against one another by establishing cards that have equal but opposite effects [...] Will this flavor [...] resurface at any point?" & A(Mark) : "We still do cards with that kind of flavor, but not in as great a number. I know that Richard, for one, is a big fan of reflections. I do believe that we are at a low ebb right now, and as I love to say, I believe the pendulum will eventually swing the other way.")
Danger, Will Robinson (Mar 17, 2003 - Mind Twist - "[...] mass discard is just a reflection of mass card drawing.")
