706.9e Until Spark Double, there was no way to get a benefit out of having a Clone copy another Clone (which is itself not copying anything) over and over and over. If it gained an ability from doing so (like Progenitor Mimic), it overwrote that eac The Mimeoplasm + h time. Altered Ego was close, but the X doesn't track through cloning. But Spark Double would add a counter each time, and that was just silly. It's not that it's too powerful—it's just weird that it doesn't work like every other "Clone the Clone to copy itself ad nauseam" interaction. This new rule changes that so it does: copying something else wipes out the other bonuses of the first copy effect.

614.13b. The same object can't be chosen to change zones more than once when applying replacement effects that modify how a single permanent enters the battlefield.

614.13 This rule covers enters-the-battlefield replacement effects that also move other objects to new zones, such as the ones created by Sutured Ghoul's ability or devour. There are now two subrules, the first saying you can't have the object entering the battlefield go to another zone when applying such a replacement effect (aka Sutured Ghoul can't exile itself when entering the battlefield from a graveyard). The second says that you can only choose to move an object to a new zone once when applying such effects (aka You can't sacrifice the same creature to multiple devour abilities if your Planechase game is on Jund).
