This amazing deck can win on turn... 0 (zero) !!
Well, of course you need the perfect hand, but you still can win on turn 1 or 2, if you hadn't drunk coffee today :)
This is how it goes :
If you win the choice to go first or draw, always choose to draw.
In that case, play Gemstone Cavern (and this before your opponent's upkeep !), but you have to remove one card... Chose to remove either Simian/Elvish Spirit Guide.
You have to find another mana source to cast, with a blue mana from Gemstone Cavern, a Flash on Protean Hulk (use Summoner's Pact to find the Protean if you have to) : this is now that the fun comes :)
Protean Hulk comes into play... but as you didn't pay its reduced casting cost, it goes FROM play TO grave which means its ability triggers :)
So you can search your library for creatures with converted mana cost equal to 6 OR LESS... Remember, an X as a converted mana cost equals to 0 (zero) !
Now fetch in your library for the followings :
- 4 Disciple of the Vault (costs only B per DotV)
- 4 Phyrexian Marauder (costs... only 0 xD !)
- 4 Shifting Wall (same °(^^)° !!)
As you may have already understood, the Phyrexian Marauder and the Shifting Wall will die (cast with X = 0, so they're 0/0 creatures => die !!) which will triggers the 4 Disciple of the Vault's ability, and will have your opponent lose 4 times 8 life = 32 life points !!!
And remember everything was done on turn... Er... well, BEFORE turn 1 :)
- FoW/Pact of Negation : for backups if you enter turn 1 or 2... (Never play PoN if you're not 100% sure to win on this turn !)
- Lotus Petal/Island/Mystical Tutor : help see you into turns one or two just in case you need it.
- Street Wraith : to thin out the deck and find the cards you need !
